The IACP Foundation Global Enrichment Program (G.E.P.)
Purpose of the Program:
To establish or increase IACP membership in countries which are either un-represented or under-represented
- To enable senior police executives from the international policing community to become members of the IACP with all rights and privileges for a period of two years
- To enhance overall police leadership, professionalism, and knowledge levels for senior police executives in the international policing community
- To open windows of opportunity to the international policing community
Methodology:
International Policing Division (IPD):
World Regional Office Chairs (WRO-C), in concert with the International Vice President (IVP), and approval of the IACP President, will identify senior police executives from countries within their respective areas of responsibility (AOR) which have no representation or minimal representation of IACP members.
Those countries with little of no IACP members will be identified by IPD staff to the WRO-C
Police executives identified for membership should be in the top tier of their respective organizations
The Director IPD will vet all nominees prior to being considered, in order to establish eligibility.
Selection letter will be forwarded to all GEP membership awardees
Selection letter shall be endorsed in-turn by the IACP President, the IVP, and the nominating WRO-C
IACP Foundation::
Establish earmarked funding guidelines in direct support of the GEP within IACP Foundation governing procedures/policies
Develop and maintain IACP Foundation application form for international policing membership awards

Projected Results:
IACP will be marketed in under-represented areas of the world
International members will be stakeholders in developing international membership
Increased international membership
Estimated Program Expense Per Person:
Individual two-year IACP Membership = $240. Total number of memberships will determine ultimate cost of the program.
