Thank you for personally assisting the International Association of Chiefs of
Police (IACP) in this important project. In developing the Global Policing
Executive Database (GPED), the IACP is endeavoring to gather essential
information on fellow police professionals from all across the world.
This information will help the international policing community by enabling IACP
to specifically design future programs and services to address a broad spectrum
of needs for the international law enforcement community. In addition, our
current membership will benefit immensely from the widened knowledge base. The
GPED will enable IACP to provide direct outreach on professional development
events around the world.
By assisting us in gathering this data, you ensure that the collective law
enforcement voices of your country will be recognized. The GPED will enable
IACP members the opportunity to access the database to facilitate the
development of national and transnational policing contacts.
The IACP has over a century of experience in serving the needs of international
policing. You and your respective organization are an integral part of
continuing and expanding that practice, by providing the information in this
database.
Please keep in mind that this is a proprietary database not intended for
commercial vendors.
Thank you for your efforts. If you need any further information or guidance,
contact Paul Santiago, Director, IACP International Activities and Support
Services at santiago@theiacp.org or Mike Robinson, NCIS Fellow to the IACP at
